FILMVOICE STUDIO / FIRST RELEASE PREVIEW

What’s new
in version 1.0.

Explore the planned first public Mac release. FilmVoice Studio has not launched yet.

Pre-launch preview: Version 1.0 will be FilmVoice Studio’s first public release. Features and availability remain subject to final engineering, licensing review, and testing.

A clear new identity

Refreshed blue FSV headphone icon across the macOS application and website. Help presentation has improved for troubleshooting and getting started.

Help and guidance

Native Mac Help menu, searchable offline guide, keyboard shortcuts and troubleshooting topics. Users can locate local logs, review what’s new and manually check for updates when an official update feed is configured.

Mixer and playback

Improved transport controls, measured stereo sample-peak meters for mixer channels and master, effect settings while listening, and video-hidden playback handling.

Timeline workflow

Clip drag-and-drop between tracks, selected-track group mute/solo, reorganized transport and timeline controls, and playback even with the video viewer hidden. Recording remains on the armed timeline track.

Supported output and limits

Current stereo WAV export supports a range of up to ten minutes. SRT export uses manually entered subtitle/dialogue text. This build does not automatically translate speech or render a final movie.

Automated local speaker and soundtrack analysis requires separate setup, and results must be reviewed for accuracy.
